About Your Zona

The Your Zona personality assessment system is the culmination of over 2,000 years of personality theories. The system offers a superior experience due to the fact that it was built for both personality assessment and matching. At the heart of the system is a 3-dimensional model that is unrivaled in matchmaking.

While most personality assessments are built on 2-dimensional models or horizontal topography, Your Zona combines both horizontal and vertical philosophies. For more than 1,800 years personality theorists have identified personality traits that are static over a person's lifetime. Then, Abraham Maslow (1908-1970) developed a Hierarchy of Needs Theory, which charted a person's development (vertical topography) through various levels in life. This was followed by Dr. Clare Grave's Spiral Dynamic Theory, which charts cognitive evolution for both societies and individuals.

Your Zona combines the best of horizontal and vertical models, wrapping them in a fun, easy to use package. The Zona test is comprised of 26 questions and takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Once someone learns their own zona, the system recommends the most compatible zonas in the areas of romance, personal growth and professional partnerships. The test is free and available is currently available in English, Russian and Chinese (simplified). The URL is www.yourzona.com.

Multiple online dating sites have incorporated the Your Zona system into their services, including ZonaMatch.com (also owned by Panspective) and UrbanTradional.com.
